To contribute to creating a beautiful image of Da Nang in the eyes of tourists when enjoying Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2015 (DIFC 2015) taking place on April 28 and 29, Da Nang City's leaders directed departments and related units to implement well all tasks to ensure the competition absolutely in safe. The City's Police allocate sufficient forces at the key points, areas of stands and others in order to avoid robbery, muggings and other threats. The department of Transport collaborated with city police and traffic police to organize stream of traffic and inform local people to ensure traffic safety and order during the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival. The City's administration ordered two districts of Hai Chau and Son Tra to cooperate with the city's police to monitor and regulate the distance between parking areas and Tran Hung Dao Street or Bach Dang Street to minimize the situation of arising more parking areas, and to ensure the traffic system on two streets.
Border Guard Force chaired the work of ensuring the safety of Han River. The city has mobilized more than 44 billion dong - the highest rate among the DIFC campaigns from 2008. 29.1 billion dong of which is financed in cash and15.3 billion dong is sponsored in kind. Compared to fireworks festivals in Da Nang, the fireworks competition in 2015 is also widely advertised on three international channels including Star World, BBC World, and Asia National Geographic, along with tourism promotion in digital newsletters, E-Newsletter, travel portals, information desk at Da Nang International airport and on social networks. 34 programs, events, activities and supporting tourism products, and new tours which are put into operation are expected to make the DIFC 2015 unique, attractive, and more fun to meet the entertainment demand of the city's residents and visitors during the holiday at the end of April. Vietnam tourism industry hopes that tourists from the northern and southern parts of Vietnam will come to Da Nang more.
Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism informed that there are familiar activities such as dropping candle flowers, flowers parades, cyclo parade, beautiful photo exhibitions, and street music shows, tourists have a chance to participate in activities at cultural community space on Tran Hung Dao Street (near Dragon Bridge), reproduction of cuisine in rural market, folk games, musical and art performances. The outstanding characters of culture, cuisine of country teams in the fireworks competition (South Africa, United States, Vietnam, Australia, and Poland) will be recreated in the park near the City Civic Center. In the chain of ancillary activities during Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2015, the Da Nang Beach Travel season launched on April 25 will be an attractive and safe event held on Da Nang beaches.
According to the management committee of Son Tra Peninsula and beaches in Da Nang, the beaches will be ideal venues of many interesting activities. Apart from important exciting activities held in main areas, there are different programs organized at 29-3 Park, Ba Na Hills, Non Nuoc Village, Da Nang Museum, and cultural centers of districts to serve locals and tourists on the occasion of the 40th year anniversary of Southern Liberation and Vietnam Reunification Day. During the festival, a number of river travel product will be put into operation to contribute to the richness of the service, convenience for residents and tourists. Everything is prepared expeditiously with the ultimate goal of ensure absolute safety to enhance, promote image and brand of Da Nang in the eyes of international friends as well as domestic tourists. This will be one of the most outstanding international festivals in Da Nang this year.
