A delayed/cancelled flight insurance can help a customer protect his benefits when his flight is delayed or cancelled. There are a lot of consequences for rescheduling flights, such as affecting work, family and friend relationships, or mentality. Thus, a new kind of Vietnam travel insurance - Inso appears.
- In Vietnam, the rate of flights are delayed or cancelled is quite big in comparison to other countries in the region. Let’s take an airline in Vietnam as an example, their delayed time is 4.5 times more than the average flight delays in countries in the area of Asia - Pacific.
- For delayed or cancelled flights, airlines in Vietnam have policies of compensation. However, in fact the value of compensation is not high or the processing time is quite long.
- If buying a delayed/cancelled flight insurance, a customer spends only from 40,000 - 100,000 VND. But, the value of compensation is up to 1,600,000 VND if flights are delayed or cancelled.

Terms and Condition
1. Insured person is the passenger, and is a Vietnamese citizen.
2. A flight departs from Vietnam, arrives in Vietnam, or transits at Vietnam.
3. The latest time to purchase is at least 6 hours before departure.
4. Compensation is applied on each passenger who bought the insurance.
5. Insurance fee is applied on each flight segment to/from Vietnam airports.
6. Compensation is applied subject to each flight segment.
Cases of Exemption from Compensation
1. Insured person is not the passenger.
2. Boarding pass is erased, crumple, torn or invalid for any reason.
3. In case of flights delayed or cancelled, returned or arrived at a different airport, the insured person has not completed check in procedures for applied flights in insurance confirmation.
4. Wars, military activities, airplane attacks, strikes, chaos, violence, or terrorist activities.
5. The insured person is notified in advance before departure time.
6. The insured person knows about the possibility of or conditions of flights delayed or cancelled.
7. The delay or cancellation is forced as requests of law enforcement agencies.
8. The airline operating the flight is bankrupt.
9. It is not applied for flights to areas in war or dangerous areas, except for specific regulations accepted by The insurance company.
