Activities in 60th Anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day

Nao Cong Festival is a famous traditional festival in Sapa. As usual, the festival will be held in the sixth month of lunar calendar with many interesting and unique activities promising to attract tourist a lots.

Choreographers and dance groups from 7 countries including Italy, Japan, Korea, Isarel, Philippines, Sweden, and Taiwan, will converge in Saigon to attend in International Dance Music Festival. The festival will take place from December 7th to 16th, 2014.

On April 20 morning (the 21st day of the third month in lunar calendar), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa opened Po Nagar Festival 2014 in in Po Nagar Tower in Nha Trang. This festival appealed attention of thousands of people.

Nha Trang Sea Festival 2015 will take place from July 11 – 14, 2015 with the theme of Love, Peace, and Creativity. It is expected that many outstanding acitivities in Nha Trang Sea Festival 2015 will satisfy the expectation of visitors.

At the press conference, it is officially announced that in addition to the opening and closing ceremony, Vietnamese Cuisine Festival 2014 has 8 official activities taking place from July 8th to 13th.

On September 9th 2014, the Boat Festival in Ho Chi Minh City was held for the first time. The festival aims to promote waterway tourism of the city. It is a potential product that is expected to flourish in the future.

To celebrate Vietnam National Day and to promote unique cultural features of Moc Chau Son La, Moc Chau Cultural Tourism Festival will be held from August 31st to September 2nd with many amazing activities.

On April 15th, at An Dinh palace, the music festival in the framework of Festival Hue was celebrated with the attendance of many troupes over the world, especially the Australian band Deep Blue. It gave audiences an extremely impressive music show.

From April 27 to May 1 in Can Tho City, the 4th Vietnam Southern Folk Cake Festival 2015 will be organized with the theme of Southern folk cakes towards integration. The event is held to introduce and promulgate typical folk cakes widely.

After three days with amazing performances and programs, in the evening of May 11 2014, at Intourco Resort, Vung Tau City officially closed the fifth International Kite Festival Ba Ria Vung Tau 2014.

Ba Na Hills has officially inaugurated the first Flower Festival Ba Na Hills at D' amour flower garden with the convergence of a variety of flowers from all over the country and renowned flowers in the world.

After Tet Nguyen Dan Festival, Tet Doan Ngo Festival held on the 5th of the fifth lunar month is the warmest and biggest reunion festival of Vietnamese people. Traditionally, the festival is held to protect the crops and health of people with fruit feast.

Annually, on the 10th day of the third month in lunar calendar, people from everywhere in Vietnam and international tourists come to Phu Tho to join Hung King Festival. This is one of important festivals in the country.

The plan of Coconut Festival 2015 in Ben Tre is a favorable condition to promulgate Coconut industry in Ben Tre to nationwide and worldwide through tourist activities. The 4th Ben Tre Coconut Festival is going to be held in April, 2015.

The opening ceremony of Southern Fruit Festival 2014 will be held on June 1st. The festival is an annual cultural event which is the most awaited every summer in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Dragon Dance Festival 2014 will take place on October 4th 2014 at Statue of King Ly Thai To area in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The festival is held by Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Folk Cake Festival, one of the traditional festivals in Southern Vietnam, will be held on February 2nd at the Hoa Su Restaurant in Can Tho. The festival aims to introduce to tourists the cultural traditional feast in Tet occasion of Vietnamese.

From August 17th to 23rd, Week of Korean Traditional Culture Experience will be celebrated at Vietnamese Women’s Museum on Ly Thuong Kiet Street. It is an opportunity to explore and experience Korean culture.

In order to introduce and honor the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine as well as the creative talent of Vietnamese artisans, Vietnamese cuisine festival 2014 will be celebrated in Nha Trang City since July 1st to 6th 2014.

The second Halong Cherry Blossom Festival took place successfully. After two times of organizations, the festival proved itself in defining relationships between Vietnam and Japan in particular, Quang Ninh and other cities of Japan in general.
