According to Hue Monuments Conservation Center, a tourism promotion called Golden Tourism Week at Hue heritages will take place from April 22 to 28, 2015. The program is a part of domestic tourism promotion 2015 of the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnam Independence Day (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2015) and welcome Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2015 (28/4 - 02/5/2015).
During tourism promotions, tourists coming to visit Vietnam heritages in Hue will receive many attractive incentives, including tickets discount for local and neighboring student groups (confirmation of Hue Monuments Conservation Center must be required), free ticket for visiting Thieu Tri Tomb and An Dinh Palace when buying tickets for 3 stopovers of Citadel - Minh Mang Tomb - Khai Dinh Tomb. Tourists buying tickets to visit 4 stopovers (Citadel - Minh Mang Tomb - Tu Duc Tomb - Khai Dinh Tomb) will be free of charge for the rest points (Gia Long Tomb, Thieu Tri Tomb, Hon Chen Palace, and An Dinh Palace). During the Golden Tourism Week in Hue, fee for tour guider's introduction at historical relics for a group of over 20 tourists will be free. Tourists also can receive a 30% discount on enjoying Hue Royal Court Music at Duyet Thi Duong Royal Theater, a 15% discount on service of taking photos in citadel, a 10% discount on tram service in citadel and free drinks for passengers, or a 10% discount on other services in Hue heritage sites.
There are some notable highlights in Hue Citadel during the Golden Tourism Week, including inauguration of conservation restoration projects Dien Tho Palace and the exhibition of "Living space of King's Mother" at the palace. Especially, there will be an introduction on the rickshaw of King's Mother - Tu Minh. The rickshaw will present in an antiques auction in France, at 08:30 on April 22, 2015. Besides, the exhibition of Royal court costumes and cuisine at Truong Sanh Palace will be opened on April 22, 2015. The art performances at Co Ha Garden, Hue Citadel at 19:30 will take place on April 25, 2015. The display on Vietnam ancient jewelry at Hue Royal Court Antique Museum will be held on April 28 morning. In the rest day, Hue Monuments Conservation Center will organized three tourism promotion programs. These programs will contribute to the development of tourism in Hue.
After this week, the rest of 2015, Hue Monuments Conservation Center will organize 3 tourism promotion programs, including the week from June 14-21, week from September 2-8 attracting tourists on the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam National Day, and last week of the year from December 24-30 ending the old year and welcoming the New Year. During the tourism promotions, Hue Monuments Conservation Center continues to organize more activities, special events and form of promotions and services to increase the attractiveness to appeal tourists to the attractions in Hue.
