Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is marked 4.5 out of 5 stars and is praised as one of the most fascinating attractions in Hanoi. This result is based on 1.500 reviews of tourists of which 51% vote it “excellent” and over 37% vote it “very good”. Also on TripAdvisor website, a large number of tourists after visiting the Museum of Ethnology have expressed their delight and appreciation, simultaneously recommended others to take a visit to this attraction because it is a must-see place in a trip in Hanoi. The majority of tourists are deeply impressed after a museum tour.
From early this year, there are about 200,000 people, 40% of which are international tourists, visiting the museum. Many tourists have expressed their interest and praises on TripAdvisor. She also reviewed that the combination of still exhibits of clothing, instruments, puppets, weapons and other artefacts, and a beautiful photographic exhibition, alongside the rather awesome reconstructed dwellings means that the experience is very diverse and has a great element of interaction. It's fascinating to see how these houses, community buildings and tombs are made and feels like quite an honour to be able to look through them all. Inaugurated in November 1997, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is the place preserving and exhibiting artifacts and documents describing cultural customs and habits in lives of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. The museum is located on a 3-hectare site on Nguyen Van Huyen Street, out of the city center. The museum currently exhibits 10,000 artifacts, 15,000 images and especially many models of traditional ancient houses in regions in Vietnam.
