Vietnam Expo 2015 will be held in Hanoi from April 15 to 18 with the participation of many domestic and international enterprises. This is a big opportunity for enterprises in Vietnam to promote their products to local and international markets.

On April 15, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and leaders of Ministry of Industry and Trade officially participated in the opening ceremony of the 25th Vietnam Expo 2015. Vietnam Expo 2015 is the oldest trade fair held annually in April at the Giang Vo Exhibition Center in Hanoi. The fair is one of trade promotions having great significance to Vietnam trade and industry, contributing to the chain of cooperation, trade promotion on export and investment in Vietnam. Through the expo, Vietnam businesses have the opportunity to advertise their products, meet with foreign purchasers, along with the expansion and consolidation of the domestic market. In addition, countries participating in the event will have the opportunity to access a large number of Vietnam enterprises to research market, exchange and investment cooperation, technological transfer to strengthen export and attract foreign investment in Vietnam.

Vietnam Expo 2015 in details

The Vietnam Expo in Hanoi has 750 booths of more than 600 enterprises from 24 countries and continents such as Algeria, Indian, Poland, Belgium, Czech, Cuba, Taiwan, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, America, South Africa, Nepal, Russia, Japan, Singapore, Kenya, Australia, Spain, Thailand, Switzerland, China, and Vietnam. There are various products introduced, from machine, equipment, electronic devices, parts and components, household items, and health care products.

Vietnam's booth has been annually attractive to visitors, by dint of diverse Vietnam products such as oil and gas, rubber, paper, food and agriculture, industrial components to handicraft products and household goods. A number of typical enterprise include Petrolimex, Vietnam Paper Company, Tea Company, Vietnam Electric Components Corporation, Hanoi Promotion Company (Hapro), Gold Star Rubber Company, Casumina, Goldsun, Vifon, and Khanh Hoa Swallow Nest... This year, booths of agricultural products, food and beverage business have attracted many enterprises with large scales, motivating the development of domestic markets and the opportunity to meet foreign customers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Expo, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Do Thang Hai said the Vietnam Expo was held for the first time in 1991. Over the time, the expo has grown in both the size and quality, attracting many large enterprises belonging to important sectors of Vietnam economy. This fair helps many businesses in Vietnam to develop export, local market. It is also a reliable address for investors and businesses to cooperate for a sustainable development.

In Vietnam Expo 2015, in addition to displaying export potential products, the expo also enhances the trade connection and trade-oriented development, investment and tourism for businesses and investors. According to Mr. Bui Huy Son, Director of the Department of Trade Promotion, in the threshold of joining the ASEAN economic community by the end of this year, with the theme "Cooperation towards ASEAN Economic Community", Vietnam Expo 2015 is a trade promotion activity, contributing to the export growth of Vietnam enterprises in regional market, especially in border areas. Simultaneously, this is a practical activity to support enterprises in Vietnam to prepare for favorable conditions to exploit and take advantage of FTAs.

With the support of functional agencies, localities and embassies, Vietnam Expo 2015 will be an affective bridge between producers, investors, and enterprises in order to exchange commerce, sign contracts, and enhance export as well. Vietnam Expo 2015 has the participation of 600 international and Vietnam enterprises with 720 booths, including 312 booths of Vietnam enterprises, and 288 foreign enterprises. In addition, the expo has 10 booths of Industry and Trade Department and trade promotion centers of Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Da Nang, Hai Duong, Binh Thuan, Quang Nam, Yen Bai, Bac Ninh, Son La, and Nam Dinh. Vietnam Expo 2015 is held by Department of Trade Promotion in coordination with Advertising JSC and Vinexad expo. It is expected that Vietnam Expo 2015 will end on April 18.
