17 Vietnam enterprises participate in Foodex Japan 2015

Taking place in four days, from March 3rd to 6th, 2015 Foodex Japan 2015 continues to create golden opportunities for Vietnam enterprises to promote its brands and introduce its products to Japan market and other markets in Asia region.

On March 1st, Trade Promotion Center For Agriculture, which belongs to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and 17 Vietnam enterprises have been on the road to take part in an international fair of Food and Beverage - Foodex Japan in Chi Ba Province. Japanese fair of Food and Beverage - Foodex Japan was successfully held 39 times. In this year, the 40th Foodex Japan will take place with the estimated scale of 2,800 booths coming from 83 different countries in the world. The fair is expected to attract 75,000 turns of visitors visiting, trading, and signing cooperation agreements. Taking place in four days, from March 3rd to 6th, 2015 in Makuhari Messe Exhibition Center (Chi Ba Province), Foodex Japan 2015 continues to create golden opportunities for Vietnam enterprises to promote its brands and introduce its products to Japan market in particular and other markets in Asia region.

Vietnam Pavilion in Foodex Japan 2015

Under the direction of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the support of Vietnam Embassy in Japan,  Trade Promotion Center For Agriculture will be a protagonist to direct Vietnam firms to take part in 126m2 Vietnam Pavilion in Foodex 2015. These enterprises have great strengths in exporting agricultural products, fisheries, foods, and drinks.  This is an important event in National Trade Promotion Program 2015. The event has practical meanings in helping Vietnam enterprises to export its products and create chances to expand exporting markets to Japan in particular and Northeast Asia countries in general. Especially, according to the actual situation recently, Japan has opened its agricultural markets and taken interests in investing in ASEAN countries. Simultaneously, Japan also participate in negotiation of trade agreements such as TPP, FTA... with Vietnam. Thereby, Foodex Japan 2015 is considered as an open door for Vietnam enterprises to exploit and increase export to Japanese market.

Mr. Dao Van Ho, General Director of Trade Promotion Center For Agriculture said that joining in Foodex Japan 2015 was an activity in National Trade Promotion Program 2015 planned by Trade Promotion Center For Agriculture. 17 Vietnam enterprises selected to participate in the fair are ones having good products, in which, its quality can meet requirements of Japanese market. These enterprises have the stable capacity and clear marketing plan to export to Japan market.

Vietnam agricultural products

According to Mr. Dao Van Ho, through the fair, Vietnam enterprises can exchange experiences, learn  how to apply new technologies for food & drinks processing industry, and sign exporting contract as well as other cooperation agreements with Japanese enterprises in term of agricultural sectors and rural developments. Through these activities, the export turnover to Japan market will be increased. "In the near future, Trade Promotion Center For Agriculture will boost trade promotion in demanding market such as the United States, Japan, Eu, Russia, and India", Mr. Dao Van Ho added.
