To celebrate the International Children Day in Vietnam, a Vietnam National Art Exhibition of Children 2015 will be opened on May 27 with the participation of typical localities such as Hanoi, Haiphong, Hue, Nghe An, Tay Ninh, and Vinh Long... In addition, the exhibition attracts the attention of a large number of pupils and students from schools in mountainous areas, and pupils from Haiphong SOS Village. It proves that apart from studying, broadening knowledge on science, society, and history..., fine art subject is improved as a bridge for children to express their sentiments to friends, family, teachers, and their concerns to issues in life and study.
As of now, there are more than 34,000 pictures sent from 574 schools, cultural houses nationwide. The art council had selected 400 pictures to exhibit. National Art Exhibition of Children 2015 is an event held every two years, in the accordance with the Decision of the government on scheme of "Vietnam Children's Art Award" approved by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Education and training, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and Ho Chi Minh Central Communist Youth Union. With the purpose of encouraging and creating conditions for improving the fine art development of children at school and after school, the award is expected to create many meaningful art creative activities, to impact positively in the fine art education of children in Vietnam.
On the occasion, there is an Art Exhibition of Children with Autism in Hanoi held, too. An Art Exhibition of Children with Autism themed "Difference and Future" will take place from 26 - 31 May. The exhibition will introduce art works of 5 children with autism, including Nguyen Trung Hieu, Ha Dinh Chi, Nguyen Gia Bao, Pham Binh Minh, and Trinh Hoang Minh. According to the organizing committee, the exhibition aims to introduce the values and abilities of people with autism through art works, to orient education and career in the future for children with autism having artistic talent, to inspire families with autistic children, encourage to create chances, and promote the ability of autistic children, change community's awareness about autism positively.
Activities are also in response to the theme "Autism Awareness 2015: Career and Strength of autistic people" of United Nations and incentives of Le Thiet Cuong painter and Ha Linh singer - Goodwill Ambassador of autistic children in Vietnam. The exhibition has the participation of Hanoi Autistic Children Family Club, LACA artistic event organization center, along with many celebrities. This is an activity to encourage the attention, create opportunities, promote the abilities of autistic children, and contribute to change the community's awareness about autism in a positive way. The exhibition is opened from 18:30 from May 26 at Laca Art Café, at 24 Ly Quoc Su Street in Hanoi to May 31, 2015.
