20 years ago, Halong Bay officially became the first natural heritage of Vietnam honored by UNESCO. During years, Quang Ninh Province has made effort continuously in conserving and developing values of Halong Bay.
Located in Hong Hai Ward, Halong City, Quang Ninh Museum is one of key works celebrating the 50th anniversary of the province’s establishment. It is expected to become a new attraction in Halong.
In the evening of September 13th, Tran Dynasty Historical Relics in Dong Trieu District, Quang Ninh Province was officially recognized as a special national heritage. The ceremony is formally held in An Sinh Temple.
According to Mr. Tran Duc Lam, Director of Department of Planning and Investment, Quang Ninh will complete the cable car in Halong Bay in 2015. The project is included in the investment of $ 300 billion of Sun Group.
Quang Ninh is located in the Northeast of Vietnam with the Halong Bay - world natural heritage. The province shares border with Hai Duong and Haiphong in the southwest and provinces of Lang Son, Bac Giang, and Hai Duong in the northwest.
