Vietjet to open flights to Vladivostok from May 2015

In this May 2015, Vietjet Air will officially operate new flights to Vladivostok according to the announcement in November 2014 during the working visit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to Russia.

The new Vietjet international flight will make a great contribution to the development of Vietnam and Russia. According to the statement of the Vietjet Air low-cost air carrier  at the end of 2014, in Moscow, in the framework of the official visit of the General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, flight from Vladivostok to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue, and Phu Quoc will be operated in 2015. In May, Vietjet flights to Vladivostok will be open to serve travel needs of people in the two cities.

After opening one of domestic routes in the early year, Vietjet flight network continues to be expanded in international scope. Hanoi Vladivostok route will be one of new Vietjet Air flights exploited in 2015. In this visit to Russia, Vietjet Air had also received high appreciation from Russian agencies, organizations, and travel companies as for its modern fleet, high quality products, services and cost savings. Flights from Vietnam to Vladivostok are expected to start from May 2015, during the early time, the frequency is three round-trip flights per week. Each flight lasts 5 hours and 30 minutes.

With new and modern Vietjet fleet, high-quality aviation products and services, and cost savings, the new route from Hanoi to Vladivostok in particular and the flights from Vietnam to Russia will connect localities of the two countries. This enables people of Russia and Vietnam to have the opportunity to exchange cultures, develop tourism and transportation of goods between the two countries, contributing to the long-lasting Vietnam-Russia relationship.

After opening the route Hanoi to Vladivostok, VietJet Air will continue expanding flight network between provinces and cities of Vietnam and Russia. At the same time, the airline has a plan to expand flights to countries in South East Asia such as Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore with a transit in Vietnam. With the opening of flight from Vietnam to Russia, tourism turnover and trade and investment as well as travel needs of two countries' people will be boosted significantly, contributing to strengthen beautiful and durable relation between two countries.
