According to the report of Airbus on April 23rd, Vietnam Airlines has become the first airline in Asia to use the latest advanced type of aircraft of this company named A350 XWB. The first A350 XWB will land at Vietnam airport in mid 2015.
After completing IPO (Initial Public Offering) plan, Vietnam Airlines will replace all its fleet with modern airplanes of Boeing 787 and Airbus 350. The airline also appeals investors by listing share in stock exchanges.
At the end of last September, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certificated a safe aircraft category for commercial purpose of the newest Airbus' product, the A350 XWB (Extra Wide-Body). Vietnam Airlines will soon receive this aircraft.
In March 2015, Vietnam Airlines will exploit at London Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world. The airline will use new fleet of Boeing 787-9 and A350 XWB aircrafts to transport passengers between two countries.
From April 2015, Vietnam Airlines fleet will be renewed by B787 and A350. The airline will be the first airlines in Asia receiving and exploiting two latest advanced aircrafts. It also upgrades quality of services and change new brand identity.
After changing new uniform, Vietnam Airlines keeps change its logo. The Vietnam Airlines logo system will be renewed more professional and simple in May 2015 from lotus logo, interior and exterior of aircrafts and quality of services will be increased.
Recently, the first Vietnam Airlines A350 XWB aircraft left the paint shop of Airbus in Toulouse, France. The aircraft has a new exterior with typical colors of Vietnam Airlines, blue and yellow of golden lotus.
