Mr. Phan Tien Dung, Director of Hue Department of Cutlure - Sports - Tourism said that on the same day, there are 140 passengers in flight Hue to Bangkok in a charter airliner. This is a new popular form of Vietnam tourism with reasonable rates of services, and tours can depart in accordance with tour operators.

NewGen Airways (Thailand) is the unit exploiting the Bangkok - Hue route. The NewGen Airways pledges that they will conduct the trial flights and offset losses during a year. If the charter flights from Bangkok to Hue are successful, this will be a potential market to boost exploitation, expand promulgation of tourism in Hue. In the framework of the working visit of Bangkok senior representatives delegation in Hue, two sides signed a Memorandum about strengthening friendly relation and cooperation, and organizing a forum "Thailand cooperation and investment in Hue" to discuss, exchange information with Thailand businesses. Thereby, Thailand businesses can seek chances to invest and do business in Hue, at the same time establishing the reliance between the administrators and businesses during the time of investing in Hue.

At present, there are connecting Hue - Bangkok flights operated by Vietnam Airlines and VietJet Air with a transit in Ho Chi Minh City (at Tan Son Nhat International Airport), or in Hanoi (at Noi Bai International Airport).
