On weekend in Israel, almost public means of transportation, stores, supermarket, and office will be closed from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon; only in the Arab area, shops and stores are opened every day. If you are not a vegetarian, do not enter restaurants or stores with "Kosher" on the billboard, as Kosher is the menu for people who do not eat meat and dairy products.
