8 Mekong Stateroom are located on the lower deck. Each cabin has an area of 19 square meters. All Mekong Stateroom are furnished with a double bed or twin beds, large window and spacious balcony. The Mekong Stateroom is decorated with bright brown tone. The wall is laid by wooden with beautiful pictures hung. Near the window, there is a comfortable lounge for you to contemplate the stunning view of the river or relax with your favorite books. There is also a large writing desk for you to complete your work during your journey (if any).
There are 16 Tonle Staterooms located on the main deck. Each stateroom has an area of 19.7 square meters. They are all equipped with a series of modern amenities such as air-conditioning, mini-bar, in-house telephone, television. Each cabin is outfitted with a double bed or twin beds. The design is simple but elegant with polished wooden wall, opulent hanging light system, and en-suite bathroom. The cabin also has large window and balcony for you to admire the magnificent scenes of Mekong River.
Being located on the upper deck, 14 Saigon Staterooms are equipped with a double bed or twin beds. Each cabin has an area of 19.7 square meters. The cabin has the similar design with Mekong Staterooms, and Tonle Staterooms: white bedding, polished wooden wall, elegant colonial and boutique style. Staying in this cabin, you will have the feeling of tranquility and comfort along your journey.
Located on the sundeck, Sadec Suite has an area of 26.4 square meters. 6 Sadec Suites are equipped with a King-size bed, luxury amenities, long sofa, and en-suite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. The suite is an ideal cabin for passengers to relax and contemplate the wonderful view of Mekong River through large windows and private balcony.
There are two Indochina Suite on the sundeck. Each of them has an area of 42 square meters, is provided with a King-size bed. The suite features Jacuzzi and separate shower and private balcony, and hairdryer. The cabins are also equipped with air-conditioning, wardrobe, writing desk, sofa, mini-bar, safe box, in-house telephone, in-house television, kimono and slippers.
Services
The La Marguerite Mekong Cruise features a main restaurant serving Asian and Western cuisine. On the cruise, you will be provided with lavish dishes. Breakfast is buffet style. Lunches are selections including salads, soups, hot entrées and desserts. Dinners are a multi-course meal with a selection of entrées. You are also served with free –flowing wine and beer in every lunch and dinner on board. Day 1 – Embarkation – My Tho – Cai Be
After registering at Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel, you will transfer by motor coach to My Tho Port for checking on board of La Marguerite Cruise to depart for Siem Reap. You will be served welcome drink in Saigon Lounge before having lunch in the restaurant. Then, the cruise will take you to Cai Be. Day 2 – Cai Be – Vinh Long

Day 3 – Sadec – Tan Chau

You come back to the ship at noon for lunch. In the early afternoon, the ship sets sail to Tan Chau. In the afternoon, you will join a lecture about Vietnam – the Past and the Present at Saigon Lounge. You have cocktails and briefing in the evening before having dinner. Day 4 – Tan Chau – Border Crossing
In the morning in Tan Chau, you will visit many local sightseeing by boats then drop by an evergreen island. You also have an opportunity to visit a floating farm and travel along the tiny tributaries. Then, you will have an ashore-tour by rickshaw. In the tour, you visit rattan mats and slippers making factories. At noon, you come back to the ship and have lunch while the ship departs for border. In the afternoon, you will participate in a fruit carving and Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls demonstration at Saigon Lounge. In the early evening, you are served with cocktails before dinner. After having dinner, you can watch movie or relax in your cabin.
Day 5 – Phnom Penh
In the morning, the ship arrives in Phnom Penh. You will go sightseeing in Phnom Penh by bus to Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum. In the afternoon, you visit the Khmer Rouge’s grim ToulSleng and the Killing Fileds. In the late afternoon, you return to the ship and have dinner. After dinner, you can join the Khmer folk dance and songs at the Saigon Lounge. Overnight at Phnom Penh Port
Day 6 – Chong Koh – Oudong – Kampong Tralach
In the early morning, the ship sails to Chong Koh. After having breakfast, you will go strolling in Chong Koh Silk Weaving Village. Then, visit a school, some home workshops of traditional silk and cotton handicrafts and buy some local products. You will return to the ship after that. After having lunch, you will be taken to Prek K’dam. In the afternoon, you will take a bus to visit Oudong, the second capital city of Cambodia. Here, you drop by a Buddhist Center, and then travel to Kampong Tralach to contemplate Kapong Tralach Pleu Temple. Later, you come back to the ship to sail to Kampong Chhnang. Day 7 – Kampong Chhnang – Prek K’dam

Day 3 - Chong Koh – Phnom Penh
In the early morning, the ship sails to Chong Koh. After having breakfast, you will go strolling in Chong Koh Silk Weaving Village. After serving a hearty breakfast, the ship will depart for the border. You will join the “Towels and napkins folding demonstration” from the Housekeeping and Restaurant Staff in the Saigon Lounge. In the afternoon, join the cooking class with fruits carving and Vietnamese fresh spring rolls demonstration at Saigon Lounge, while the border formalities are carried out. You will arrive at Tan Chau in the evening. After dinner, you can take part in a nice surprise in the lounge with the crew-members. The boat moors safely at the riverbanks.
Day 6 - Tan Chau – Sadec
On the sixth day’s morning, you will visit Tan Chau, a small town of Mekong River in Vietnam. You will travel by local boats to visit an evergreen island. Then, you pop in a floating fish farm and sightsee along the tiny tributaries. Then, you go ashore and take a town tour by rickshaw. You will visit rattan mats and slippers making factories. In the afternoon, you will join a lecture on “Vietnam – The Past & Present” while the cruise sails to Sadec. You will have dinner on board and overnight at Sadec.
Day 7 - Sadec – Xeo Quyt – Cai Be
In the morning, you will come over floating markets through river’s channels. When you go ashore, you will drop by the hometown of the French writer Marguerite Duras, and then visit the house of Huynh Thuy Le. Later, you take a tour from Sadec to Xeo Quyt. Then, come back to the ship to cruise to Cai Be. After having lunch on board, you will visit Cai Be Floating Market, rice paper and coconut candy workshops, old houses in Mekong River, and big orchards. Day 8 - Disembarkation – My Tho – Saigon
Your cruise ends as the ship arrives at My Tho Port. You have breakfast before disembarkation, followed by a motor coach transfer to Saigon. As the capital of the French colony of Cochichina, Saigon is known as “Paris of Orient”. Today, Vietnam’s largest city is an industrial, cultural and educational hub, but retains vestiges of its colonial past.
