You might have wondered whether Vietnam has its own religion. The answer is yes, of course and its name is Cao Dai. Caodaists believe that, before God existed, there was the Tao which was nameless, formless, and unchanging. When the Big Bang occurred, God was born. Because the universe could not yet be formed, God created yin and yang.

Driver and tour guide pick you up from Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon and head to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh - a province 95 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, which is close to the Cambodia border. The Cao Dai Temple looks like the Walt Disney of the East. Its exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes, competing for space with numerous swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye -the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior represents statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, standing side by side, which are very engaging.
Cao Dai Temple is the eclectic blend of colors and the amazing use of architecture, creating a space of beauty, spirituality with a somewhat surreal flavor to western palates!
In the middle of the day, there is a special service in Cao Dai Temple, so do not miss this!!!
The afternoon tour is Cu Chi Tunnels.

After having lunch, we will leave Tay Ninh and travel to Cu Chi Tunnel. Once in Vietnam, you must visit this spot. This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the extraordinary design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Even with B-52 bombers dropping 30-ton loads of explosive, turning the jungle into a pockmarked moonscape, 30 thousand American troops failed to conquer this area! You’ll have a chance to crawl around a 121 km long, multiple-layered tunnel. And you’ll learn how thousands of guerillas managed to stay underground many days at a time, also their great techniques to conceal smoke from their cooking, a chance to fire real AK bullets.
