Poseidon Sails were launched in April, 2010. These cruises provides tourists all services and amenities of Halong Bay superior cruises. Poseidon Sails follow traditional junk design with modern furniture. The cruises have dimensions of 34.5m in lengths and 7.3m in width and are furnished with 8 spacious cabins, a charming restaurant and bar, a top deck with sun-bathing chair (26m long and 6m wide).
With regard to outstanding features of Poseidon Sails, all the itineraries and programs during the cruise are pretty unique and exceptional, which make Poseidon different in comparison to other cruises in Halong Bay. Choosing Poseidon Sails, passengers can participate in many interesting activities such as trekking at Cat Ba National Park, climbing to Ngu Lam Mountain, experience one night in Cat Ba Island or Monkey Island, and visit famous sightseeing spots of Halong Bay.
Poseidon Sails have 8 cabins followed international standards. All are designed with rich wooden interior, comfortable bedding with luxuriant lines, ceramic en suite bathroom, artworks handcrafted made in Bat Trang, and items decorated with silk from Van Phuc. Normally, all suites are furnished with air-condition, high-quality bed, fresh flowerers and fruits, hairdryer, Indochina pictures, and mini bar. There are 2 deluxe cabins of 19m2 and 6 superior cabins.

In Poseidon Sail’s restaurant, passengers can savor diverse delicious dishes in a warm and romantic atmosphere and admire the beauty of Halong Bay by overlooking sea view window. All of the dishes here are made of fresh ingredients in the coast. Professional chefs of Poseidon Sails will serve passengers various selection of Vietnamese and fresh local seafood. After being transferred from Hanoi to Halong by shuttle bus, passengers will arrive in Halong City and get on Halong Poseidon Sails in midday. Embarking onboard, passengers will have a soft welcome drink, then savor a gourmet lunch with a wide range of seafood. The cruise will pass through emerald water between the limestone outcrops and long corridors. En route, passengers have chance to go sightseeing many beautiful seascapes of the “Bay of a dragon descending into sea” such as Fighting Cock Islet, Incense Burner Islet, Finger Island, Toad Islet, Dog Islet, Dragon, Horse Neck, Buffalo Head Islet, and other strange-shaped islands. In this day, passengers will visit Surprising Cave, one of the most beautiful and largest caves in Halong Bay. When cruising to Titop beach, passengers can enjoy water sports like swimming or kayaking if the weather is permitted. You can also walk up to the top of Titop for a spectacular view of Halong Bay. If you desire observing the breathtaking beauty of Halong Bay at sunrise, do not forget waking up early before 6.00 am. Then, let’s enjoy a breakfast with a cup of coffee or tea. From 8.00 – 11.00 am, Halong Bay Poseidon Sails will take passengers to unspoiled sceneries of the Bay and stop for breathtaking swimming (if permitted time). After having a tasty lunch, passengers will disembark the cruise and return back to Hanoi.

Waking up early if you like enjoying Halong Bay’s sunrise, then you will have a tasty breakfast with some coffee. Poseidon Sails will bring tourists to Cat Ba Island from Gia Luan Dock. Later on, shuttle bus will take passengers to Cat Ba National Park where flora and fauna is quite plentiful with various kinds of mammals and more than 2000 species of flora. In this place, passengers can go trekking through the forest and climb up to Ngu Lam Mountain for a panoramic view of Cat Ba Island. Then, tour guide will take you for check in a Cat Ba hotel. In the hotel, you will be served a delicious lunch. Later on, you can relax at the hotel or have a free time walking to Cat Co Beach. Tour guide will take tourists to Lan Ha Bay by boat for kayaking and swimming to explore natural sceneries of Halong Bay and Monkey Island. Back to the hotel, passengers will have free time for swimming at Cat Co Beach nearby the hotel. Then, let’s enjoy a dinner at the hotel, then walking along the promenade and having a look around Cat Ba Town.
Early risers can go walking and swimming at Cat Co Beach, then back to the hotel for enjoying a breakfast. At 8.30 am, passengers will say goodbye to Cat Ba Island for returning to Poseidon Sails Halong. On the way back to the harbor, passengers can enjoy some beautiful seascapes like Fighting Cock islets, Incense Burner Islet, Stone Dog Islet, and then having lunch at midday. When reaching to the harbor, passengers will be transferred to Hanoi. Trip ends.

In this day, passengers also have opportunity to go to Cat Ba National Park for sightseeing and trek through the forest and climb up to Ngu Lam Mountain. At noon (12.00), shuttle bus will bring passengers to Beo Harbor and get on boat to travel to Monkey Island for having lunch and enjoying kayaking and swimming. Let’s enjoy an overnight in Bungalow at Monkey island resort and admire thousands stars at night. There is an extra activity for those who love fishing in this day. You can have two hours for fishing in Lan Ha Bay after a small boat take you from Monkey Island to Giuoc Islet. You will be provided fishing-rod and shrimp for your fishing trip.
After having a breakfast, you will check out the room. When the boat transfer passengers to Ca Ba town, you will have 30 minutes for exploring small town of Cat Ba Island. Then, bus will take passengers to Gia Luan Pier and get back to Poseidon Sails. The cruise will go another way through amazing islets and spectacularly natural sceneries like Fighting Cock Islet, Stone Dog Islet, Incense Burner Islet, fishing village, etc. Having lunch onboard at noon, then, the cruise come back to the harbor.

After having a breakfast with a cup of coffee, passengers will be transferred to a smaller boat to cruise towards Lan Ha Bay with stalagmite caves and hidden lagoons. You will be shown by a tour guide the most beautiful parts of Halog Bay like Drum Cave, Man’s Head Islet, Turtle Islet and Fairman’s Cave before heading to Van Gia fishing village for kayaking and relaxation. This is a good chance to enrich knowledge about fishermen’s daily life. Afterward, you can continue kayaking to the other side of the Bay to visit a pearl farm. Returning to Poseidon Sails Halong Bay, passengers can relax and then savor a dinner with fresh seafood. Later on, you can participate in many evening activities on board like cuttlefish contest, dancing, karaoke, fishing, and so on.
Getting up early for swimming, then you will be served a breakfast. Poseidon Sails will cruise towards Bai Tu Long Bay for pristine sceneries. After having lunch on board, tourists will disembark the cruise when arriving the harbor.

Check-in/Check-out
At 7.45 – 8.00 am, tourists will be picked up at hotel in Hanoi and will be transferred to Halong. After 3-4 hours, tourists will check-in onboard at midday (about from 12.00 am – 1.00 pm). The disembarkation time is around 4.00 – 4.30 pm. At 6.00 am, tourists will arrive in Hanoi.

- The FOC (Free of charge) rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults.
