After a 4-hour way from Hanoi to Halong, at noon (around 12.00), tourists will arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and then have a welcome cocktail and a relaxing lunch in the restaurant or on the outdoor dining area. In the afternoon, passengers can relax on the sundeck and enjoying stunning views of Halong Bay while the cruise is moving to Van Gia fishing village. When arriving this village, passengers will disembark and visit the village by kayaking or sitting in local bamboo boat. In this place, tourists will first-hand observe the daily activities of locals when living on the water, visit schools and pearl farms, and meet and chat with residents. Back to Halong Carina Cruise, tourists will have a sunset party with complementary fruits and wine. In the early evening, a dinner will be served indoor or outdoor restaurant (if the weather is in good condition). After having a gastronomic delight, passengers can freely do favorite activities onboard such as unwinding in bar in which there is a selection of books, magazines, and board games, watching movie on plasma TV, or going fishing at night.
Improving the focus of mind and the condition of body by practicing Tai Chi on the sundeck, then, tourists will be served a breakfast with tea or coffee. In the morning, the cruise will drop anchor at Surprising Cave for exploring the widest grotto in Halong Bay with thousands of stalagmites and stalactites. Returning to the cruise, tourists can enjoy a cooking demonstration by talented chefs who will teach tourists how to make spring rolls before an early lunch will be served. In this place, tourists can enjoy kayaking, swimming in a pristine natural cave lapped by the turquoise water. At 12.00, lunch is served onboard.
In the afternoon, Carina Cruise will take passengers to Ba Trai Dao Islet (Three Peaks Islet). Tourists can sunbathe on one of natural secluded beaches with private, wild, and fresh air or go swimming or kayaking. When reaching Soi Sim Island, tourists can also snorkeling and swimming as well. Children and extra beds
Children under 4 years old can freely share cabin with parent with no charge. For those from 5 – 9 years old, they will be charged 75% adult rates if using existing bed in the room. In addition, for whom over 9, they will be treated as adults.
Cards accepted
Carina Cruise in Halong accepts different methods to make the payment. In details, tourists can pay by cash or through credit cards (all major credit cards except from American Express), bank transfer, Western Union, or PayPal.
How safe is your boat?
The first and foremost priority of Carina Cruise is the utmost safety for passengers and staffs onboard. Therefore, Carina Cruise always strictly follows safety requirements which are implemented by Vietnamese and Local Government on cruises in Halong Bay. The cruise is daily performed maintenance checks to ensure the smooth running and safety.
In addition, all crew of Carina Cruise regularly take part in training in emergency procedure. Especially, captain is required by law to submit a daily report and complete list of passengers and cruise.
What should I bring onboard?
Carina Cruise Halong Bay advises that tourists should bring along with passport with valid visa and some cash in VND/USD for personal expenses. Besides, some other necessary items should be taken along are sun block or insect repellent, swimming suites, glasses, etc.
