Depending on airfare that passengers booked, Vietjet will refund or not. In case, the ticket can be reimbursed, refund will be implemented by reserving airfare and using for the next booking. Passengers are not refunded by cash. Yet, in some specific cases for reasons of force majeure or as prescribed by law, the airline will consider to refund by cash or bank transfer (if passengers pay by credit card).

- We may refuse to refund if the refund request is made after the period of ticket validity.
- We may refuse to refund if passenger is denied of transportation for reasons of not implementing regulations on safe and of flight.

If VietjetAir ticket is refunded, the airline will implement the refund immediately. If passenger pays for tickets by credit card, the refund will be added into passenger’s account by the bank issuing card. Therefore, the time will depend on the bank.

In any case, you can not cancel your ticket. You only can if the flight is cancelled by airline or the last departing time delays later 3 hours.
Normally, the reserved amount is not refunded, it is used for new booking. The applied period is limited. You should contact to airline or agent to support, provide some information about old booking reference and new booking reference: PNR, names, itinerary.

Passengers should give information about reservation code, passenger’s name, email address and route.

If passenger wants to reimburse ticket, passenger contact the booking agent, and staff will guide passenger to conduct the procedure.

All types of Vietjet Air fare are not refunded. Only Flexi ticket can be reserved if passenger want to use later.

Passengers should send email which is used to book ticket to our email address [email protected] to change. In the email, passenger should note exact route to change. Passenger has to pay for different fare and fee of change.

- Passenger can change name ticketed if passenger bought Eco or Flexi airfare.
- Changing name fee will be applied when passenger conduct the change.
