When booking flights with Vietnam Airlines, passengers should inform booking staff to know more information about the position of seat or meal order. The order of special seat can be charged by a different rate.

In most cases of wrong name, passport number or other detailed information, VN Airlines will not agree to correct. Thus, tickets of these cases will not have validity to conduct the flight. Yet, in some cases of wrong name, the airline can correct as follows:

- Error of typing or spell
- Error of name order
- Error of gender, title
- And other cases (wrong middle name: it is acceptable if the middle name is written wrong; the airline does not accept if the name lacks or excess middle name, except for “THI” in Vietnamese name).

If passenger receives two emails when book Vietnam Airline ticket online, passenger should open these mails and compare. If there is nothing in common, you should contact the airline or the booking agent to inform about the difference. If they are the same, you can continue the next step.

To book Vietnam Airlines ticket for children under 12 years old, passenger seeks as same flight as flight of adult. Then, passenger can book ticket for children like booking for adult with name of passenger as name of children. And, when checking in at the airport, children must have passport, or Certificate of Birth.
