Oriental Sails Co. Ltd is one of prestigious company providing different types of cruises in Halong Bay. With regard to Oriental Sails, the first one of this type was operated in 2007 with dimensions of 38m long, 8m wide, and 9m high. Meanwhile, a younger sister of Oriental Sails I, Oriental Sails II was started operating in mid-2010 with smaller dimensions, specifically, 30m long, 7m wide, and 7m high. Being known as having smaller area than its sister, Oriental Sails II has only 6 cabins while the first one has the double.
Oriental Sail’s cabins are designed in a stylish romance at charm and comfort with a wide range of facilities and an elegant ambiance. These suites are built following the international standards featuring with a rich wooden décor and a large window with panoramic view into Halong Bay. Cabin amenities consist of air-conditioner, mini bar, slippers, bathroom amenities, wardrobe, and private shower with hot water. As mentioned before, Oriental Sails I has 16 cabins (6 doubles and 10 twins) while Orientals Sails II has only 8 suites (1 triple, 4 twins, and 3 doubles). All of them can convert into double bed.
As one of Halong Bay 3 star cruises, Oriental Sails offer basic services and also organize onboard activities to help tourists experience the most enjoyable and relaxing trip in the Bay.

At 7.15 – 7.45 am, tourists will be pick up at hotel and transferred to Halong. After about 4 hours, getting on the cruise, tourists will be savored a delectable lunch when Oriental Sails start cruising through limestone islands of Fighting Cock, Turtle Island… In the afternoon, passengers have chance to visit Surprising Cave and relax on Titop Beach. On the beach, passengers can enjoy kayaking among multitude of limestone islands. Around 4.00 – 5.30 pm, the cruise will move back to the harbor. When reaching the harbor, passengers will be transferred back to Hanoi and have an evening snack.
At 8.00 – 8.30 am, Halong Oriental Sails will pick up tourists at hotel and start 3-hour-and-a half drive to Halong Bay. When embarking onboard, after a cruise briefing, tourists can savor a delectable lunch while Oriental Sails cruise further along limestone islands of Fighting Cock, Turtle Island …. In the afternoon, tourists can visit Sung Sot Cave and kayaking along the hidden parts of Halong Bay. The time from 5.30 to before 7.00 pm, tourists can go swimming, snapping photos or just relax onboard. At 7.00 pm, dinner is served. Later on, tourists can do evening activities onboard with other passengers.
Passengers can start a new day with swimming, exercise, or photo hun. Then, at 7.00 am, a breakfast will be served. In this day, Oriental Sails Halong will bring passengers to visit Titop Island, Ba Hang Fishing Village, Dog Rock, and Incense Burner. After having lunch around 11.00 am, tourists will disembark and return to Hanoi.
The price of this itinerary is $154/person ($40 for single supplement).

Waking up body and refreshing mind with Tai Chi in the early morning, then passengers can have a breakfast on board. At 8.30 – 9.30 am, tourists will be transferred to day boat for cruising in Lan Ha Bay. There are two options for passengers:
- Option 1: Rock-climbing with Western instructors
With this choice, tourists will enjoy kayaking around Moody’s Beach area, then, have lunch and being transferred to Thap Nghiem (Hai Pai Beach). Tourists will rock climb on this beach.
- Option 2: Relaxing and kayaking
With the second option, passengers can enjoy a whole day relaxing on beautiful beaches of Van Boi beach, Ba Cat beach, and leisure kayak around Lan Ha Bay.
Around 4.30 – 5.00 pm, tourists will return to Oriental Sails relaxing and waiting for dinner at 7.00 pm.
Passengers can start a new day with swimming, exercise, or photo hun. Then, at 7.00 am, a breakfast will be served. In this day, Oriental Sails Halong will bring passengers to visit Titop Island, Ba Hang Fishing Village, Dog Rock, and Incense Burner. With option 1 – rock climbing (minimum 2 pax), the price is $339. Meanwhile, option 2 – relaxing and kayaking costs less with the price of $255. And the price for single supplement is $80.

Cancellation
If tourists want to cancel the booking because of any unexpected reasons, please contact with Oriental Sails Halong Bay as soon as possible. The sooner tourists inform the cancellation’s request, the less they will be charged. For detailed information, please ask Oriental’s staff to know cancellation’s rate.
Children policy and extra beds
Children under 6 years old are free of charge sharing room with parents. Baby cot on request is free. Children from 6 – 11 years old will be charged 75%. And for those in the age from 12, they will be treated like adults.

In terms of payment, tourists can pay through cash, bank transfer, or credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Onepay.
How safe is your boat?
With regard to safety, Oriental Sails are maintained every six months and have daily technical supervision. Life rafts and life vests are available in every cabin and public areas as well. The cruise also have fire detection and security measures in place. Besides, all passengers are briefed on emergency and evacuation procedures.
What should I bring on board?
According to Vietnamese government regulations, all travelers must register with the local authorities. As a result, please be noted that you should always bring your passports with you even if you are cruising with Oriental Sails in Halong. Besides, some other necessary utensils tourists should take along with are swimming suites, sun glasses, insect repellent, etc.
