Quang Binh – Tour Phong Nha-Ke Bang

Taking part in a tour Phong Nha-Ke Bang - Zipline to Dark Cave, you have a chance to try interesting, bizarre Zipline services and contemplate impressive nature.

Dark Cave is a branch of Phong Nha Cave system with 5,558m long and 80m high; the entry of the cave is 30m high and 10m wide with heavy forest around the cave mouth. Dark Cave was discovered in the Resistance War against the American empire by local people, this place was used as a bomb shelter.

Dark Cave holds a primitive beauty with thousands of several spectacular stalagmites and stalactites, which is a shelter of many species of animals like bat and swift, especially, Hatinh langur – one of the primate species listed in the Vietnam Red Data Book. Specially, on January 9th, 1995, Mr. L.Deharveng, a Russian scientist collected, discovered and proclaimed a specimen of a species of new crab (called Nemoron Nomas) in Dark Cave. This specimen is now being kept in the Museum of Zoology, the National University of Singapore.

Itinerary

Morning: 7:30 AM
Pick you up at your hotel in Hue City and head to Phong Nha – World’s Natural Heritage.

On the way, we will stop to contemplate the ruins of La Vang Church and drop by DMZ of Vietnam in Quang Tri Province.

Lunch: 12:30 PM
You will enjoy lunch at Son Doong restaurant.

Continue tour Dark Cave, please remember to change clothes and prepare your personal cameras for sliding into the Zipline from outside the tower to the mouth of Dark Cave with continuous activities. Then start sightseeing and discovering the Dark Cave, swimming in the cool water of Thuy Tien lake inside the cave, walking under the mud with plastic sandals.

Later, do Kayak on Chay river for sightseeing rustic villages, green fields and limestone mountains in the park. And do another zipline, jump into the river, do swimming and sunbathing.

Afternoon: 04:00 PM

Back to Dong Hoi/ Hue city.

Evening: 08:00 PM
Bus will drop you off at a hotel in Hue city.
