Shall VN Airlines GLP member earn miles when traveling on other airlines in SkyTeam?

Yes. If GLP member travel on Vietnam Airline or on one of airline members in SkyTeam Alliance, GLP member will earn miles according to regulations of the program.

Can I earn miles Vietnam Airlines in one flight if I join two promotion programs?
Program
No. Member can take part in many frequent passengers programs of Vietnam Airlines or in SkyTeam Alliance. But, when conducting an eligible flight, member can only earn miles for one of two frequent passenger programs.

Shall VN Airline Economy class upgraded to Business earn miles as Business class?

Yes. According to regulations of Golden Lotus Plus, GLP member will earn miles in accordance with the latest class ticket.

Shall I earn miles on SkyTeam as qualifying miles of VNA Golden Lotus?
Program
Yes. Member of Vietnam Airlines GLP will earn miles when implementing eligible flights and class of carriers in SkyTeam Alliance, announced by Golden Lotus Plus program.

Can I use award ticket for another VN Airlines flight if I change?
Program
No. After getting award ticket, GLP member cannot change journey for the award ticket. Member can only change departure date if rebooking is successful.

Can award ticket of GLP Vietnam Airlines and miles be reimbursed?
Program
No. When award ticket is given to member by VN Airline, member will not be reimbursed miles, but member will be refunded tax of the award ticket.

Why award ticket of VNA is cancelled when I have promotion code?

When the request of redemption is accepted, member has a specific period of time to go to the nearest VNA agents to receive award ticket. If member come later than the deadline, award ticket will be cancelled. Then, to receive award ticket, member has to rebook journey for the award ticket.

Why GLP member has to pay for getting award ticket of VN Airline?
Program
Because though Vietnam Airlines presents award ticket for GLP member, the member has to pay for tax when getting the award ticket. The award ticket may not include tax and expenses incurred.

Can I transfer VNA miles to other frequent passenger programs of SkyTeam?
Program
No. Qualifying miles of Golden Lotus Plus program cannot be transferred to other frequent passenger programs of SkyTeam Alliance.

How to buy qualifying miles from VNA Golden Lotus?
Program
GLP member can buy qualifying miles from VNA Golden Lotus Plus when member use these miles to get awards. Award miles are sold in package. Each package is 1,000 miles with 500 VNA/mile (in Vietnam), and 0.025 USD/mile (in overseas), including tax and expenses incurred. However, miles bought cannot be reimbursed. These miles are used to get awards, not to qualify GLP card’s class.
