+ Shall Vietnam Airlines allow to bring wines and other liquids bought at duty free shops on board?

Baggage restrictions

Yes. All liquids are required to be carried in bottles, vials or containers with a capacity no greater than 100 ml and be completely closed. Such bottles, vials and containers must fit comfortably within the transparent plastic bag; only one transparent bag per passenger is permitted.

The liquids purchased either at airport duty free shops or onboard the aircraft are exempted from the above limitation of capacity provided that such liquids are packed in a transparent sealed plastic bag provided by the seller, that is tamper-evident. The proof of purchase at airport duty free shops, or on board aircraft has to be displayed satisfactorily with the name of the shop and date of purchase without the opening of the bag.

Besides, baby milk/foods have to be accompanied by the baby when taken on board the aircraft.

No. Valuable items are baggage restricions as checked baggage. Vietnam Airlines will not be responsible for the damage of the baggage. Therefore, passenger should order to carry the baggage as hand baggage or cabin baggage.
+ Can I order vegetarian Vietnam Airlines special meals on board?

Yes. Passenger can order vegetarian meals in menus of Vietnam Airlines special meals 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Vegetarian meals include:

VN Airlines provides passenger as children with the following choices:

Baby Meal:
- Recommended for: infant and children under 2 years.
- Prohibited: highly seasoned foods, foods containing wheat, gluten, fish, eggs and citrus fruit, pork, veal, beef, solid food for children < 1 year, meat with bone.

Child Meal:
- Recommended for: children aged from 2 years to 5 years.
- Prohibited: fish with bone, meat with bone, nuts and seeds, highly seasoned foods, rich sauces, hard candy, whole grapes.
+ Are there special religious meals on VN Airline?

Special orders

Yes. VN Airlines offers a wide range of religious meals as follows:

Hindu Meal
- Recommended for: passengers wishing to follow Hindu custom
- Note: Hindu Meal assigned if request for a Hindu Vegetarian Meal
- Prohibited: beef, veal, pork, raw and smoked fish.

Kosher Meal
- Recommended for: passengers wishing to follow Jewish custom
- Prohibited: any food items which are not chosen, prepared and served in accordance with Jewish dietary laws and custom.

Moslem Meal
- Recommended for: passengers wishing to follow Moslem customs.
- Prohibited: pork, pig by-products, gelatine, alcohol, flavouring extracts with alcohol, non-white fish meat from species without scales or fins.
