Vietnam art and literature have retained many distinctively Vietnamese characteristics though influenced by Chinese and Western culture. These features are clearly shown in literature, architectures, fine arts, performing arts, and traditional music.
The country’s seas and islands have always been endless inspiration for Vietnamese authors to create songs, films, paintings, photography and now for the first time, it became the main topic for the fiction novel, “The Oath” of writer Nguyen Quang Vinh.
On September 23, Vietnam Literary Copyright Center, Vietnam Writers Association and Korean Society of Authors signed a cooperation agreement on literary copyright to promote Vietnam Korea relation.
Vietnam Writers Association held the opening ceremony of Vietnam Literature Museum at 275 Au Co Street, Tay Ho District, in Hanoi. It has an area of 3000 square meters and exhibits over 4,000 artifacts and documents relating to writers and literary works.
