Being known as a highly mountainous region, Central Highland Vietnam has not many favorable conditions to develop economics; nonetheless, the land has its own strengths in culture and tourism that cannot find in other places of the country.
Weather in Central Highland Vietnam is characterized by the tropical savanna climate. There are two distinct seasons in this region: rainy season and dry season. Due to the effects of altitude, weather varies in different topography.
In recent years, along with the encouraging policies enacted by the Government and the continuous efforts of local authorities, the economy in Central Highlands Vietnam has made some great achievements.
Located in the Central Highlands, Dak Lak is the land with majestic waterfalls as a sketchy line of the charming painting and with the flexible features like the hair of fairy amidst the mysterious forest and mountain.
The name of Gia Lai derived from Jarai script; the name of an indigenous people with the largest population in the province, this call is still kept in the language of the Ede, Bana, Lao, Thailand and Cambodian.
