In the evaluation of the travel website, Vietnam also places 42nd among 150 countries in terms of safety, and ranks 2nd in terms of happiness. Therefore, Vietnam surpasses many other countries to position in Top 10 best places for solo travelers. The ranking of Top Safest Countries in the world is accessed through two criteria: Safety and Happiness (the rate is evaluated based on the Global Peace Index).

Safety and Happiness are two criteria having a great impact on traveling, as solo travelers often consider much about safety in the place where there are no terrorism, wars, and racism... Ranking the first in the list is New Zealand; the next position belongs to Norway and Switzerland. The United States is not listed in Top 10 best countries for solo travelers. Vietnam places the 6th, Japan ranks the 8th, and Indonesia ranks the 10th. They are three representatives of Asia. According to the travel website, Vietnam is voted as a country in which there are exciting and vivid streets along with famous attractions such as Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City, or Dong Xuan Market in Hanoi.
