Vietnam to host ASEAN Traditional Music Festival 2015

On May 10th, the closing ceremony of United Nations Day of Vesak Vietnam 2014 has been formally celebrated at Bai Dinh Pagoda, Ninh Binh Province.

At 20:00 pm April 12th 2014, the opening ceremony of the 8th Festival Hue with the theme of the Ancient Citadel convergence and shine was celebrated at Ngo Mon Square. It is the prelude to a series of cultural events held until April 20th 2014.

Vietnam National Tourism Year 2014 on a theme of "High Mountain and Thick Forests of Central Highlands" is coming to the end. With 45 main activities and other additional activities in response, National Tourism Year 2014 has achieved remarkable results.

It is estimated that Ben Tre Coconut Festival will take place from April 7-13 with the participation of some country members of World Coconut Association, 10 provinces having strength of coconut in Vietnam, coconut enterprises in Vietnam, and farmers.

From August 17th to 23rd, Week of Korean Traditional Culture Experience will be celebrated at Vietnamese Women’s Museum on Ly Thuong Kiet Street. It is an opportunity to explore and experience Korean culture.

Folk Cake Festival, one of the traditional festivals in Southern Vietnam, will be held on February 2nd at the Hoa Su Restaurant in Can Tho. The festival aims to introduce to tourists the cultural traditional feast in Tet occasion of Vietnamese.

Hanoi Traditional Craft Village Festival 2015 will take place from October 1 to 4 at Quan Ngua Sport Palace Van Cao Street, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. The festival will be a chance to introduce traditional handicraft products of villages in and round Hanoi City.

After three days with amazing performances and programs, in the evening of May 11 2014, at Intourco Resort, Vung Tau City officially closed the fifth International Kite Festival Ba Ria Vung Tau 2014.

The Folk Culture and Ethnic Costumes Festival will be held in Dalat in 3 days from October 31st to November 2nd 2014. The festival aims to promote National Tourism Year 2014 of Central Highlands - Dalat.

The Mid-autumn Festival in Hanoi will take place with a large number of interesting and attractive activities from September 5th to 8th 2014 in the Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Center at 2 Hoa Lu Street.

Ba Na Hills has officially inaugurated the first Flower Festival Ba Na Hills at D' amour flower garden with the convergence of a variety of flowers from all over the country and renowned flowers in the world.

After Tet Nguyen Dan Festival, Tet Doan Ngo Festival held on the 5th of the fifth lunar month is the warmest and biggest reunion festival of Vietnamese people. Traditionally, the festival is held to protect the crops and health of people with fruit feast.

Annually, on the 10th day of the third month in lunar calendar, people from everywhere in Vietnam and international tourists come to Phu Tho to join Hung King Festival. This is one of important festivals in the country.

The plan of Coconut Festival 2015 in Ben Tre is a favorable condition to promulgate Coconut industry in Ben Tre to nationwide and worldwide through tourist activities. The 4th Ben Tre Coconut Festival is going to be held in April, 2015.

The opening ceremony of Southern Fruit Festival 2014 will be held on June 1st. The festival is an annual cultural event which is the most awaited every summer in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Dragon Dance Festival 2014 will take place on October 4th 2014 at Statue of King Ly Thai To area in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The festival is held by Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The second Halong Cherry Blossom Festival took place successfully. After two times of organizations, the festival proved itself in defining relationships between Vietnam and Japan in particular, Quang Ninh and other cities of Japan in general.
