Bodhisattva festival in Hue

In the evening of April 20th, Festival Hue 2014 with the topic of “Cultural Heritage with integration and development” ended after 9 days of taking place. The closing ceremony is held in Gia Dinh Park, Hue City.

On June 29, in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa People's Committee held a press conference to introduce the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2015. The festival will be held on 11-14 July 2015. The Nha Trang Sea Festival is organized every two year, from 2003.

Nao Cong Festival is a famous traditional festival in Sapa. As usual, the festival will be held in the sixth month of lunar calendar with many interesting and unique activities promising to attract tourist a lots.

On June 1st, at Suoi Tien Amusement Park in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, the opening ceremony of 11th Southern Fruit Festival 2014 was held by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In the morning of January 5th on Tet Holiday (February 23rd), Dong Da Mound was colorfully decorated to hold Dong Da Festival in order to celebrate 226 years of Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da Victory. Thousands of people flocked here to take part in the festival.

Phu Tho is ready for Hung King Festival to be held in 2014. The festival’s organization rejects records of units, organizations and individuals preparing and honoring the festival. Phu Tho also strives for making the festival an epitome of the country.

In order to diversify tourism activities and simultaneously introduce unique cultural identity of Hmong ethnic groups in Lao Cai, from February 28th, Lao Cai Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism will put Gau Tao Festival to test in Bac Ha District.

Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that from August 7th to 10th, 2014, Rainy Season Festival in Dalat will be taken place. Visiting Dalat this time, tourists have many chances participating in a variety of special activities.

In the evening of April 28, on the bank of Han River, the Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2015 was officially opened. Da Nang - Symphony of Colors is the theme of this year's competition.

Ba Na Hills has officially inaugurated the first Flower Festival Ba Na Hills at D' amour flower garden with the convergence of a variety of flowers from all over the country and renowned flowers in the world.

After Tet Nguyen Dan Festival, Tet Doan Ngo Festival held on the 5th of the fifth lunar month is the warmest and biggest reunion festival of Vietnamese people. Traditionally, the festival is held to protect the crops and health of people with fruit feast.

Annually, on the 10th day of the third month in lunar calendar, people from everywhere in Vietnam and international tourists come to Phu Tho to join Hung King Festival. This is one of important festivals in the country.

The plan of Coconut Festival 2015 in Ben Tre is a favorable condition to promulgate Coconut industry in Ben Tre to nationwide and worldwide through tourist activities. The 4th Ben Tre Coconut Festival is going to be held in April, 2015.

The opening ceremony of Southern Fruit Festival 2014 will be held on June 1st. The festival is an annual cultural event which is the most awaited every summer in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Dragon Dance Festival 2014 will take place on October 4th 2014 at Statue of King Ly Thai To area in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The festival is held by Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Folk Cake Festival, one of the traditional festivals in Southern Vietnam, will be held on February 2nd at the Hoa Su Restaurant in Can Tho. The festival aims to introduce to tourists the cultural traditional feast in Tet occasion of Vietnamese.

From August 17th to 23rd, Week of Korean Traditional Culture Experience will be celebrated at Vietnamese Women’s Museum on Ly Thuong Kiet Street. It is an opportunity to explore and experience Korean culture.

In order to introduce and honor the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine as well as the creative talent of Vietnamese artisans, Vietnamese cuisine festival 2014 will be celebrated in Nha Trang City since July 1st to 6th 2014.

The second Halong Cherry Blossom Festival took place successfully. After two times of organizations, the festival proved itself in defining relationships between Vietnam and Japan in particular, Quang Ninh and other cities of Japan in general.
