Mango Bay Resort is one of Phu Quoc 3 star resorts lying on Phu Quoc Island, an island in the Gulf of Thailand, the size of Singapore, adjacent to Cambodia, and belonging to Vietnam. This is an unusually low density resort with only 40 bungalows.

Mango Bay Resort is one of low – density Phu Quoc resorts lying on Ong Lang Beach, Phu Quoc Island. Being established in 2000, Mango Bay Resort sets in 20 hectares of indigenous natural forest and garden with 40 rooms and bungalows. All bungalows, are thatched roofed, and have been constructed using natural materials from the island. There are seven room types including Reef House, Family Bungalow, Plantation Bungalows (Sea View or Garden View), Fishermen Bungalows, Rammed Earth Bungalows, The Veranda Rooms (Twin Room or Double Room), and Bay View Private Villa.

Staying in Mango Bay Resort, guests can treat their palate with the exotic Asian and Western fusion cuisine in On The Rocks Restaurant. There are also many choices of snacks, drinks, and special dishes at Beach Bar. To ensure guest’s enjoyment, Mango Bay features with snorkeling equipment, kayak, or canoe for rental and complimentary badminton, volleyball, beach ball, petanque, cricket, and kids bucket & spade sets. Not only an ideal palace to relax and enjoy a holiday, Mango Bay is also a great location to host special events such as proposals, weddings, anniversaries, private diners, or other romantic or cozy celebrations.

Mango Bay Resort has 40 rooms and bungalows spreading along 700 kilometers of beach. All rooms and bungalows in Mango Bay are decorated simply but beautifully with locally-made four poster beds, wooden furniture, overhead fans, and cotton mosquito nets. Most rooms have outdoor bathrooms overlooking lush vegetation. Hot water is provided through solar sources. Especially, unlike other resorts in Phu Quoc, each room in Mango Bay is not furnished with modern amenities like air-conditioning or telephones in order to bring guests the most natural space to relax and forget about all troubles and stuffs in life.

ACTIVITIES AND RECREATION

Guests can come to Mango Bay’s Activity Centre, which is next to Beach Bar to rent snorkeling equipment, kayak, or canoe and experience interesting excursions in the beautiful beach. Besides, sports such as badminton, volleyball, beach ball, petanque, cricket, kids bucket & spade sets are free of charge during your stay in the resort. For those who want to try cooking Asian cuisine, they can enjoy a cooking experience with the resort’s Chef in On The Rock Restaurant. Especially, the resort also organizes Snorkeling Day Trip and Southern Excursions. With snorkeling Day Trip, guests can enjoy a full day on the ocean on a converted fishing boat. Guests will be guided by the hotel’s staffs to the Northern part of Phu Quoc and visit two islands Hon Mong Tay (Fingernail Island) and Hon Doi Moi (Turtle Island). With Southern Excursion, guests will be guided to explore Phu Quoc in a private car. With this tour, guests will visit a fish sauce factory, Tranh Waterfall, Ham Ninh Fishing Village, Sao Beach, Phu Quoc pearl Farm…After a long day of excursions, do not forget to go to the Wellness Center – a relaxing place where natural products and treatments will nurture and rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul. And what’s more, if you are a Yoga lover, please be reminded to take part in Yoga class at 4.30 pm. The class is daily open except from Thursday.

BAR AND RESTAURANT

In Mango Bay Resort, you can treat you palate with exotic Asian and Western cuisine in On The Rocks Restaurant. The restaurant is a romantic place to listen to jazz music, admire beautiful seascapes of the Gulf of Thailand, and savor special dishes. Breakfast is served from 6:30am to 10:30am. After breakfast, the restaurant continues serving guests with diverse a la carte menu with a wide range of Vietnamese food and Western dishes until the last guest leaves at night. There is a special program called Happy Hour which will be ran from 4.00 pm – 7.00 pm.

Beach Bar opens from 10.30 am. The bar offers a wide selection of snacks, pizzas, salads, ad drinks. In addition, Beach Bar also serves lunch and dinner with grilled seafood and meat and BBQ. This is a delightful place to enjoy an al fresco dinner whilst listening to some great music and gazing the stars.
